The Quran refers to the trinity in verses 19:89-94
[19:89]
وَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ وَلَدًا
ENGLISH
And they say, ‘The Gracious God has taken unto Himself a son.’
Hadrat Mirza Bashirudeen Mahmud Ahmad(r.a) commentates:
"The verse means to say that the socalled followers of Jesus think that he will intercede for them. How could this be possible when he was a strict believer in the Oneness of God and they ascribe partners to the Almighty which is a heinous sin. They possess no likeness with him while one of the most important conditions of intercession is that the person for whom intercession is sought must be like him who is to make the intercession."(Holy Quran Short Commentary under 19:89 Footnote 2205)
[19:90]
لَقَدۡ جِئۡتُمۡ شَیۡئًا اِدًّا
ENGLISH
Assuredly, you have done a most monstrous thing!
Hadrat Mirza Bashirudeen Mahmud Ahmad(r.a) commentates:
"The verse purports to say that شرک (idolatry) is a most abominable thing. Human nature revolts against it and reason and intellect recoil in disgust from it and no sane person can help protesting against such a blasphemous practice or belief. No doctrine has been condemned so strongly and repeatedly in the Quran as the Christian dogma that Jesus, son of Mary, a mortal, subject to all human weaknesses and frailties, was the son of God."(Short Commentary of Holy Quran under 19:90)
[19:91]
تَکَادُ السَّمٰوٰتُ یَتَفَطَّرۡنَ مِنۡہُ وَ تَنۡشَقُّ الۡاَرۡضُ وَ تَخِرُّ الۡجِبَالُ ہَدًّا
ENGLISH
The heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces,
Malik Ghulam Farid Commentates on the verse:
"The dogma that Jesus is the son of God is so hideous that the heavens, the earth and the mountains might well break into pieces and fall asunder at its enormity. The belief is repugnant to heavenly beings (As-Samawat) because it is against Divine attributes and against all that they stand for. It is revolting for human beings living on the earth (al-Ard), because it offends against the dictates of human nature and man’s intellect and reason recoil in sheer disgust from it. Men of high and noble ideals such as Divine Prophets and God’s Elect (al-Jibal) also deny and denounce it because the idea that man should stand in need of the vicarious sacrifice of anybody for the attainment of salvation and a high moral status runs counter to their own spiritual experience"(Short Commentary of Holy Quran under 19:91 Footnote 1802)

[19:92]
اَنۡ دَعَوۡا لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ وَلَدًا
ENGLISH
Because they ascribe a son to the Gracious God.
[19:93]
وَ مَا یَنۡۢبَغِیۡ لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ اَنۡ یَّتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا
ENGLISH
Whereas it becomes not the Gracious God to take unto Himself a son.
Malik Ghulam Farid commentates:
"The Surah contains most emphatic and clear denunciation of Christian dogmas, particularly their basic doctrine that Jesus is son of God, from which all other dogmas flow. In the present and preceding four verses special stress has been laid on the refutation and condemnation of this doctrine. It is worthy of special note that the Divine attribute Ar-Rahman has been repeatedly referred to in this Surah—it has been mentioned as many as sixteen times. As the fundamental dogma of the sonship of Jesus and its corollary, the dogma of atonement involve a denial of the Divine attribute Ar-Rahman and as the central theme of this Surah is the refutation of this dogma, this attribute inevitably has been repeatedly referred to. The dogma of atonement implies that God cannot forgive the sins of men whereas the Divine attribute 'Ar-Rahman' implies that He can and actually does often forgive them, hence its repetition in this Surah (Holy Quran Short Commentary Under 19:93 Footnote 1803)

[19:94]
اِنۡ کُلُّ مَنۡ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ اِلَّاۤ اٰتِی الرَّحۡمٰنِ عَبۡدًا
ENGLISH
There is none in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Gracious God as a bondman.
Malik Ghulam Farid commentates:
"The Gracious God needs no son to help Him or succeed Him, because He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and His Kingdom extends over the whole universe, and because all men are His servants and Jesus is one of them." (Holy Quran Short Commentary 19:94 Footnote)
Hadrat Mirza Bashirudeen Mahmud Ahmad(r.a) commentates:
